Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken 15 BEAN SOUP®

One of our most popular recipes, now made in a slow cooker! If you like spicy buffalo wings dipped in creamy blue cheese, this is the soup for you. It's the perfect recipe for a tailgate or to bring along to your "BIG GAME" celebration. Serve along with some celery and carrot sticks for the full effect! Featured on!

  • 1 package HamBeens® 15 BEAN SOUP®

  • 1 cup diced onion

  • 1 cup diced carrot

  • 1 cup diced celery

  • 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts (raw)

  • 8 cups chicken stock (or water)

  • 1 cup buffalo sauce (in grocery aisle with BBQ and ketchup)

  • 1 packet dry ranch dressing mix

  • 1 container blue cheese crumbles (for topping)

Cooking Directions

  1. Rinse and sort through the dry beans. Check for any unwanted debris and discard.

  2. In a 4-6 quart slow cooker: Add rinsed beans, carrot, onion, celery, chicken breast, Hurst's ham flavor packet, and 8 cups of chicken stock.

  3. Cook on high for 5-6 hours (low for 8-9)

  4. Remove and shred the chicken and add back to the pot.

  5. Pour in the buffalo sauce and ranch seasoning, stir to combine.

  6. Cook for additional 20 minutes.

  7. Keep hot until ready to serve!

Serve with carrot and celery sticks

Have extra buffalo sauce on the side in case someone wants it spicy!
